Walter Rand Davenport was the son of Edmond Davenport and Nancy Lemmons. All of these are buried in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Warren County, Tennessee. Edward and Francis Justice are also buried there. Several of their descendants still live in the area. I grew up close to the farm where Walter lived. My grandfather and he were brothers. Iknew some of the children of Walter and many of his grandchildren. I have researched this line of Davenports and in 2007 published a 2 volume set of books on them.
