Elvira Davidson married Powell Hughes (of Prince Edward Co., VA) on 16 Oct 1821 in Campbell Co., VA. Powell Hughes (1740-1823) had been been married to an Elizabeth Coleman, and he had a large family with her. Was "Davidson" Elvira's maiden name, or was she the widow of a Davidson man? Any information on this Elvira Davidson will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
