Hello Jammie,

My name Noe Davila. My grandfather Vicente was a cowboy on the King Ranch sometime between the twenties and forties. He was married to Teresa Davila Garcia. He had several brother and sister that I do not know. His children were Rogerio, my father, Vicente, Cristo, Noe, Felipe, Arturo, Maria (Pia), Gloria, Rosa, and one more whose name I cannot remember. Shame on me.
There is a book, a photographic essay by Toni Frissell, THE KING RANCH, 1939 - 1944, that has pictures of my Granpa and other relatives. You might want to check your local library to see if you recognize any of the photographs.
Let me know if any of this helps you.
