Saludos Primos!
Although I don't have any information about your relatives, I'm also a Dávila descendant from Dorado. All the Dávila's from Dorado are related, both black and white. Our line came to Dorado originally from the Vega Baja area and moved into Dorado, Toa Baja, Toa Alta, Bayamón and beyond.
My line comes down from José María Dávila and Tomasa Mateu (m. about 1820), through their daughter, Victoriana (b.1821/22 d.9/18/1896). I am including a link to my web page's Davila surname listing. Feel free to check it out at your convenience. Send me a note if you have any information to share or any questions. My current e-mail address is: God bless and hope to hear from you soon!
