Hello,
Angel, Juan and all the other Davilas. Its been quite some time I did not check on this Forum.

My father was also from Coabey, all his brothers and only sister have passed away long ago. I met only my Aunt Isabel who was married to Juan Marin and both lived in Coabey for many years, and 2 other uncles, one lived in Hatillo. I also met a cousin named Alicia and others that I don't remember now, its been that long.

I remember my cousin Alicia was married to someone named Confesor and they had a Colmado or store below their home in town. I think the last time I talked to her over the phone was in 1994. I know I have some cousins that lived in Chicago for many years, until they retired and moved back to Jayuya. If I remember well, one of them was a Policeman in Chicago.

I have never met this part of my family. I also remember a cousin who visited us in Rio Piedras, she was from Humacao where a brother of my father lived and passed away many years ago. Im 61 years old now and the last time I was in Jayuya was in 1971, so you can imagine. Two cousins of my father lived in Puerto Nuevo, Rio Piedras for a time after the moved back to Puerto Rico from Chicago.

So Its very nice to see online about people Im sure are related to me and my children. My son lives in Orlando,Florida and my daughter lives in Roanoke, VA.

Saludos afectuosos a todos. May God bless you all.
