yes we have spoken before. Good to hear from you again.
I am still looking.
I have some info sent to me by the davisclearinghouse people. I will e-mail them to you.
As I mentioned before, Malinda Davis was my great-grandmother. She was the daughter of John Davis and Ruhamma Glassgo (their only child). Ruhamma dies and John remarries a Sarah J Diffey. Then she must have died and he marries a Elizabeth Jobe. (Still checking on that one)
According to the info I am going to send you, a Malinda Davis age 20 is living with Close and Anne(Anna) Davis.
You may have this info already, but I will send it just in case.
I have been trying to go back beyond Daffren but it is not easy as I am not sure where they moved from to live in Randolph Co. NC.
I have not found much on Daffren either.
There are some Davis's in Moore Co. NC, but so far cannot connect. I am still trying as I find the time.
Work is keeping me busy.
Will keep you informed as I find anything.
