1930 Caddo Parrish, LA
C. E. Davis 33 b. TX (parents: TX) auto mechanic
Lillie M. 25 LA (parents: TX) (misnomer born in TX not LA)
Eloise 6 LA
Ernestine 4 LA
Paul 2 LA
Craig 1 LA

In 1940 Charles is a widower with Ernestine & Paul residing with him. It appears that youngest son, Craig, is also deceased.

Parents: Basil E. Davis 1873-1951 and Ira J. Sheffield 1877-1925

Parents of Lillie: William A. Pickett 3/1869 - 1929 and N. J. Pickett (nee unknown) b. 7/1874 TX d. between 1900/1910. See 1900 Hopkins Co., TX. Lillie is not May but Myrtie. See 1910 Hopkins Co., TX. See 1920 Caddo Parrish, LA wherein Lillie is residing with father and 1 sibling. See 1880 Franklin Co., TX wherein William is residing with parents James & Emalie nee Trim Davis.

Eloise b. 1924, Ernestine b. 1926 & Craig born 1929. By 1940 Charles owns his own auto repair shop.

I have contacted a Joseph Davis who is a descendant and who has a public tree on ancestry.com requesting that he personally contact you so the two of you may exchange info.
