I am trying to locate a Davis or Davis descendant with whom I corresponded several years ago, said descendant had or knew of family pictures of the Logan children of John M. Logan and Laura (Stevenson) Logan, this family of Jack, later Young Co., TX., but parent of John M., that is John Calhoun Logan, as well as several siblings (of John M. Logan), lived in Erath Co., TX. (as did John M. and Laura for a while). In particular, Albert Wesley Davis m. Mary Ann Virginia "Jennie" Logan, sister of John M. Logan, on 20 Feb 1875, Fannin Co., GA., and they left GA., probably with her father and brothers in about 1882, to Erath Co., TX. Albert W. Davis d. in Erath Co., TX., on 3 Aug 1885, and Mary Ann Virginia remarried (supposedly) a William Taggert Campbell, then later, around 1884-1886, a third marriage to Robert Edwin Vance Davidson. There were several Davis children and several Davidson children. I corresponded with a Davis descendant, but lost all my emails several years ago. I am very interested in the pictures I recall this descendant had, some of which were of my mother and her siblings as younger children of a few years to probably ages 10-12, said pictures may be from Rock Creek area around the then village of Finis, Jack Co., TX., where my mother and siblings grew up in the early 1900s to 1920s. I have a lot of Davis descendant info and tons of Logan info, forward and backward, but those pictures would make my day, month, year, as I have absolutely no pictures of my mother or her siblings as young children, only as younger adults. Thanks, Bill Polk, Kansas City. My contact is
