I am looking for background information on Edward Wilkinson Cheffings Davison, who was born in 1857, to George Davison and Mary Dale.
To my knowledge, he was born in Lincolnshire and immigrated to Taranaki, New Zealand sometime between his 42 years. He died on 10 July 1899 in Manaia, Taranaki.
Edward and Mary had twelve children who were:
John George (b. 20 August 1880; d. 9 February 1962)
Mary Elizabeth (b. 30 June 1881; d. 1964)
Edna (b. 27 August 1882; d. 28 July 1913)
Emily Jane (b. 13 December 1883; d. 16 April 1967)
Helen (b. 25 August 1885)
Robert Edward (b. 9 January 1886; d. 1955)
William (b. 28 December 1888; d. 9 August 1896)
Henry, my great grandfather who married Euphemia Primrose Drysdale (b. 21 July 1889; d. 5 July 1972)
Alice (b. 12 January 1892; 16 September 1974)
Joseph (b. 16 May 1893; 10 July 1971)
Herbert (b. 9 Ocober 1895; 13 August 1966)
Mary (b. 27 May 1898; 29 May 1898)
