I am looking for any information on Lewis Davison (his parents in particular) born 1825 in New Jersey and died 1897 in New Jersey. He married a Mary Horn, who was born around 1838 in either PA or NJ and died in NJ in 1876.
They had a son, my great gandfather, Joseph Horn Davison, born in 1860 in NJ and died 1945 in Nebraska. As far as I can tell, Lewis Davison spent his entire life in NJ around Oxford, in Warren County. I have found him in the census records, but no information on his parents or any siblings he had. I am looking to see if he is perhaps related to Archibald and Christiania Davison who live next door to him in the 1860 census. Archibald could be his father, but I can't find a link.
Any information on Lewis (or Mary if anyone has it!) who be greatly appreciated. I can't find a trace of them before 1860.
