I have the following on William Davisson from Oregon Donation claims:

claim 1333
Davisson, William, Lane Co., b. 1827 Ohio; Arr. Ore. 15 Oct. 1850. M. Alice 6 nov 1849, Mo. Name was originally listed as Davidson, however letter enclosed with docs asks that spelling be corrected. Aff: John F. Wooley (MA & aff of . of Alice as 18 June 1853) Elias Davisson.

William was the son of Elias Davisson whose will of 1845 lists William along with several other children. If you are interested, I can copy the content of the will and give you his line back quite a ways.
