Will Book A, Page 3, Holt Co., Missouri
Being in my full senses and believing that my days are few I make this my Last Will and Testament, to wit:
First. It is my wish that all my lawful debts and expenses of my last sickness be paid out of the personal property.
Second. I will unto my beloved wife, Sarah Davisson my houses and farm and all therunto belonging so long as she lives and after her death to be equally divided between my three sons, Elias, William, and John J. Davisson. It is also my will that my wife keep the farming utensils and two horses with the harness gearing.
Third. I will unto Louisa Chamberlain one hundred dollars of which she has received $104.37 1/2.
Fourth. I will unto Elizabeth Thornton one hundred and ten dollars of which she has received $106.87 1/2.
Fifth. I will unto Casander Wooley, one hundred and ten dollars of which she has received $75.00.
Sixth. I will unto Sarah Jane Davisson one hundred and ten dollars.
Seventh. I will unto Mary E. Davisson one hundred and ten dollars.
Eighth. It is also my will that my three sons, Elias, William, and John Davisson pay the above legacies to the girls out of their shares of the farm equally.
Ninth. It is also my will that my wife Sarah Davisson and John F. Wooley be my executors.
The above is my last will and testament made this 20th day of June, A.D. 1845.
Signed and acknowledged in the presence of John Russell and Benjamin Davisson.
