Both Arthur Davison and Russell Davisson proved definitively in their books that Daiel of Ipswich (The one who married Sarah Low) were in no way related to Nicholas Davison. Russell and others of us Davison descendants are now engaged in a dna search to find Daniel' real parentage in Scotland. Russell and a few other men who have maintained the name have connected to Daniel II. It seems like we could put the Nicholas myth away for all time if a man claiming descendancy from Nicholas took a dna test and compared it to Russ's.
