Hi Bev,

The Kosciusko Ingenweb site marriage database confirms that
DAVISSON, William A. married       BECKER, Mary C. on 21 Sep 1876 (Book E:533)

The 1900 Census in Butler, NE says Mary C. Davisson has 5 children and all are living. For are listed below her:
Stacy, Amos (both b. IN), Sally and Jacob (both b. NE.) I am assuming Perry is the fifth

The WPA Birth records for Kosciusko Co., IN do not list either Stacy or Amos or any Davisson children at the appropriate ages.

He appears to be living with the Bosley Family in 1860 in Kosciusko Co., IN (relationship unknown)

However, I also saw (on Davisson Nebraska for 1910 Lancaster Co.): Image-2/p55b/Sh1b/Ed77/Dw21/Ward 5/Lincoln
Davisson, Perry E. m w 32 m1 m11 Indiana New York New York
Davisson, Gertrude wife f w 30 m1 m11 yrs 1ch 1li Nebraska Wisconsin Minnesota
Davisson, Irene dau f w 10 Nebraska Indiana Nebraska

In 1900 however his parents are from Indiana! It is not a very clear picture, is it?

My mom's family came from Kosciusko.

Which shows Perry's parents are from New York
