Sorry about the length of time to reply. From what we have found from various web-sites, and WV historical resources from the library, it appears that both Isaac Davisson Sr (1746-1847) and Daniel Davisson (1748-1819) both had sons named Obadiah. I do not have a birthdate for Daniel's Obadiah, but belive it was circa 1773, as Daniel & Prudence Izzard were married in 1772, and Obadiah Davisson had to have been old enough for military service in 1792. Obadiah Davisson is listed on a pay-roll of scouts ordered into service by Gov. Henry Lee in 1792 for a period of 165 days.
