I have been searching the Davidson name, also I have found they use a lot of the first names in every family, also our family spells it Davison,Davisson and Daverson,I read where they had taken out the (D) then I read where they had later put it back ,Our Davidson`s came from Scotland , So if you`re looking for one spelling ,it may keep you from finding it ,I think some people back then could not spell well,And they spelled a name the way it sounded to them,Like I found Alvoree Davidson, spelled Alvey ,Alvore and Alvorne Our Davidson,Davison ,Davisson`s Were in N.Carolina ,Tennessee, then went to Missouri Then into Arkansas ,people moved around a lot back then also ,I think some of ours went on into Oklahoma,They all had a great number of children ,And I think all of them are just branches of of all the children through the years..Syrilda (Davidson)Gallaway
