davern name in general

Personally I have in the past had little interest in this area.A brother of mine and my grandmother before she died spurred my interest.

I am living in Limerick city in Ireland and originate from a village called Hospital in Limerick. There are several families of Daverns' and Davorens' in county Limerick.I know that my brother has been particularly interested in Daverns' that went to Australia around the mid 1800's.

My own family from Hospital have been Undertakers since around the mid to late 1800's.The parish priest in the town at that time was a Father Davern.

I guess I would like to make contact with this group on my brothers behalf at least and also if I can be of any help to anyone in terms of their ancestry I will do what I can,

Kind Regards
Tim Davern
