John Mortimer Davoren born 1819 in Moycullen, Co Galway, ireland. He married Ann McDonough born in Co Galway in 1829. John died at Hoge, KS, Leavenworth Co. 10/29/1882 and is buried at Hoge. Ann died in Kansas City, MO 8/26/1904 and is buried at Hoge. John's father was Mortimer(Murty) Davoren, Moycullen, Co Galway, Ireland; his mother was Margaret but we do not have her maiden name.
Children of John Mortimer Davoren and Ann McDonough:
1. Mortimer Thomas Davoren born 8/10/1857 near Chillicothe, MO died 2/24/1900 at Hoge, KS.
2. Margaret Davoren born about 1863 in Missouri, died 11/18/1939 in Kansas City, MO. Margaret never married.
3. John Francis Davoren born 1870, died 3/8/1900 at Hoge. He never married.
All are buried in the same cemetery.
Mortimer Thomas Davoren married Margaret Connelly in Leavenworth, KS. Margaret was born in Rusheeny, Co. Galway on 1/6/1859 and died in KC, MO 7/14/1939. Her parents were John Connelly and Mary Clancy. They had 8 children.
The youngest of their children, James Francis Davoren was born 12/21/1899 at Hoge, KS and died 10/3/1965. James Francis, Sr. was my father-in-law.
