I need to make corrections:

Elia was born March 16,1795 Pike Co. Alabama
Robert Godfrey 1805
Sarah may have been born about: 1770 - 1775

It is said that she may have been the daughter of William Dawsey, Sr. and his wife Sarah of Galivants Ferry in the Georgetown District. She was the sister of Amelia Dawsey who married Reuben Treadwell on Oct. 22, 1779. Sometime in the 1790's (exact date unknown) Reuben moved the family to the Darlington District as he an Amelia and several of the children are enumerated in the 180 census in that district. Apparently Sarah had gone with them or was visiting with them (the distance between the two locationsis 45-50 miles)
