Hello Myron,
Thank you for the information. Yes, this threw me for a loop. I wasn't prepared for this when I first heard it from the Windom/Windham forum. I believe it was first an Edward Dawsey who had some information about a Sarah Dawsey who had 2 sons prior to marrying a Daniel Windham. I'm a little confused as to what to do at this point. I am just trying to put the pieces together. DNA test show me to be related to the Windham/Windom group, but this group seems to be all related to maybe this Sarah Dawsey and Daniel, this is the way I understand it. I need to get a little more up to speed and clarity and also documents to verify.
I get a little stumped when I get to Elia or Elias Windom/Windham born about 1841. I have documents on him just as far as his name and state he was born in. Anything before this, is not set in stone, and I don't have any information before this date. Things get a little fuzzy between maybe 1795 and 1841. Do you have any documents to show me possibly. Please email me privately on any information you have.
Thanks again,
Sherry
