John Day, Prince Georges Co, MD, 1720
Looking for additional information about my ggg-grandfather, John Day, b. PGC, MD 1720, d. 1772.Might be the same as John Day, b. G1724, son of Daniel [1700] and Eleanor. My John Day m. Sarah b. 1727, according to an old Family Bible. She was shown as age 40 in 1776 Census (Brumbaugh I:188), but was actually aged 49.(9 and 0 easily confused).Census of Lower Potomack Hundred, Aug 22, 1776.With Sarah (Brumbaugh I:188) wasKatherine, age 79, (b. 1697), and also daughter Mary, age 16 (Brumbaugh I:188).Katherine was possibly John's mother or aunt.Might be the same John Day who patented 42 acres of Good Will Fred Cty, 1747 (FCLO TI1:316).Children:
1.Mary, b. Dec 28, 1760Age 16 (Brumbaugh:188) (+)

James Day, b. Sept 8, 1762, was the subject of my book, "James Day of Browningsvile and his Descendants:A Maryland Family."
