Day families of Claiborne County, TN

After looking at lots of census records in NC and TN, it appears that John Day who is age 66 with wife Sarah in the 1850 census in Claiborne Co. TN came from Burke Co. NC.

I think he is in Burke Co. NC in 1810, 1820, & 1830. In 1840 and 1850 he is in Claiborne Co. TN. He probably died before 1860.

His sons are Noah (born 1805), Colbert (born 1810), Caswell (born 1812), and Charles M Day (born 1818). Those are approximate ages. It appears he has other children who haven't yet been identified.

Please help me prove or disprove this.
