Hi Angie, I'm a descendent of Leonard Day. Samuel Day born 1757 did marry Margaret Cohagen. The info I have says that Samuel is the first cousin to Daniel Boone and Daniel helped Samuel and his family move to Ohio in 1805. I don't have any further connection to Daniel Boone, Such as his parents. Perhaps if we research him also it might help.
Let me know if you learn anything new.
