My John Day Sr. is so far first documented as paying his poore tax in Mercer County KY 1790. His son (John Day Jr
1796-1866)was born in KY and moved to Hancock County IL with his bride, Sebbina Logsdon. My line descends from them and I have most of it clearly documented. I am seeking info about John Sr., where was he born(MD?),when?, when did he move to KY? Was his wife Frances Childers? etc. Any info appreciated.
My great grandfather, son of John and Sebbina, was Miles Harper Day (1833-1912),and my grandfather was Guy Harper Day (1871-1937).. Curious as to why the middle name Harper was repeated.
