John Day(1640-1689)was the son of Robert Day (1604/5-1683)and Hannah Pengry (1610-1683. Sarah Pengry was Hannah's niece and the daughtwer of Moses and Sarah Pengry. John and Sarah had 5 children: John, Mehittable, Moses, Lydia, and Hannah. Lydia married Jonathan Kimball, brother of Richard Kimball, who married Mehittable. It was a small world back in those days.

I have been unsuccessful in finding ancestors of Robert Day. He came over on the HopeWell in 1635 under authorization of the Bishop of Stansted Abbotts in Hertsfordshire, near the border of Essex, the origin of many of the Ipswich people - so maybe he came from there.
Ipswich was a major town in those days so there is a lot of information
