Caswell DAY's son, John DAY (my husband's ggrandfather), was born 19 Sep 1847 in Claiborne Co., TN. After serving with the Union in the 1st TN Volunteers in the Civil War, he moved to Hart Co., KY where he died 20 May 1906. He and his second wife, Elizabeth (Betsy) DORSEY (from Hart Co.) are buried on the original DAY farm near Cub Run in Hart Co., KY.
