My great-great grandfather Joseph P. Minteer married Julia Daymude,daughter of William Daymude in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Nov.5, 1835.They had six children there before moving to Sigourney, Iowa in 1854. They had 50 years of marriage before she died May 28, 1885. I have very little more information. A sister of Julia married a Yearick who lived in Washington, Iowa. According to Joseph Minteer the Swailes & House families of Sigourney & Wapello. Iowa are related to Julia.
