John W. Day b. Greene Co., TN 1839

I am looking for info on John W. Day b. 1839 in Greene Co., TN. Census info indicates that he was born in TN and his obit states that he was born in Greene Co. I believe that he is the son of Thomas Day (son of William Day and Nellie Corder) but I have not been able to make a positive connection.

Any help on this line would be appreciated. See my postings in the DAY Family Forum (not DAYS). I have the obit posted there and also a brief decendants outline.
