Thanks for responding. I found the Carol Goodman site quite a while ago and have been trying to connect my Day Family to one of William's sons - Thomas Day.Thomas had a son, John, born abt 1840 that fits perfectly with my John W. Day.....I just can't find the one piece of info that sews it up.

If you think your friend might be able to help, I would appreciate you putting her in touch with me.
