Hello,
I have some info on my ancestors from upstate NY that I'm hoping someone out there might be able to confirm or correct or add to. Here is what I have starting w my grandfather.
Lawrence E. Day
b 1909
m 1946 to Pauline Glowacki
d 1976
his parents were
David S. Day
b Oct 1869
m abt 1892 to Lilla May Wood
d aft 1930
David's parents were
Charles L. Vreeland
b abt 1841
m bef 1868 to Abbie M. Day (b 1843)
d bet 1870-1900
David's birthname of Vreeland was changed back to his mother's maiden name of Day sometime bet 1870-1900.
Abbie Day's parents were
Charles G. Day
b 1812
m 1837 to Hester Ann Roe Goodwin (b 1816, d 1885)
d unk.
Charles parents were
Isaac Day
b 1780
m abt 1810 to Lydia Crandall (b 1766, d 1846)
d 1861
What I know is that the Days lived in or around Ithaca, NY for the duration but I don't how much of this is accurate. I am going on census info which led me to Charles G. Day. Isaac Day is based on info found on other trees but they were trees of the Crandall's, indicating Isaac is the 2nd husband of Lydia Crandall.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
