Dear Amanda Gray, after reading you letter on your Great Grandmother Golda thought I would let you know that I had a half sister named Golda who lived in Long Beach Calif.up until she moved back to I believe somewhere around Blackwell OK.My father was married to her mother at one time, then came back to Mo. and meant my mother and married her in 1917 and had 9 children with my mother Ruth.Golda's mothers name was Rosa and they had 3 children Golda, Virgil, and Cecil.Meant Golda in San Diego at my 5th sisters house when she had come for a visit, and she looked so much like my oldest sister Opal. There are so many Dazey's out there. When we lived in Wichita Kansas we were the only Dazey's in the phone book in the 30's and 40's.Golda and her brothers use to come to Wichita too see there father, but now I hear he was married once before he married Rosa, but we never knew that for sure but believe it is true now, and he had children with that wife so there are a lot of Dazey's out there from the Charles Edward Dazey man.I know Golda owned a hotel in Long Beach Calif. for some time.Cecil her brother is buried in the Rosecran cemetery in San Diego for he passed awsy in San Diego, not sure what ever happened to Virgil and his family, for I'm the youngest of Charles children and I'm 70 years old so know most of them have passed on.I Believe my father and Golda's was born in Belhamy Ill. and he had several brothers and twin sisters who were teachers. Most of his brothers were business people or owners of businesses.I wish you good luck in finding some of your family for I know they are out there. My E-Mail address is [email protected] if you would like to ask me anything at all.Take Care.Mary Dazey Flaherty
