You may have already pursued this avenue but, if not, I'll put it out there for you. There is a series of books by Joan M. Dixon, currently seventeen volumes, which abstract genealogical data from the "National Intelligencer" (Washington, DC) newspaper. The books cover the period from roughly 1800-1861 and are invaluable for anyone researching in DC. Any good genealogical library will have some or all of them. They may also be purchased from Heritage Books, Westminster, MD but they are a bit pricey ($32-$50, new, paperback). Just a suggestion. Rick
