Tucker / Willey Connection, Kent Co, DE, Early 1900s
Posted by: Dennis Tucker (ID *****1490) Date: February 07, 2009 at 10:01:55

I found an article about my great grandfather's (John J. Tucker) house burning in 1903. Also, the neighbor's (George E. Willey), house burned that night.

Another article from 1930 mentions George Willey as owner of a dog that bit the neighbor who tried to help the dog after it was injured by a car. The neighbor was the wife of John J. Tucker's son, Frank.

Both events occured in Spruance City (near Smyrna), Delaware.

Does anyone know of a connection between the Tuckers and Willeys of Kent County, DE?
