Alice Duncan's father is Henry, not John. Her mother is Joanna, although I have no last name for her yet. Henry moved to Georgia in the late 1780s from Wilkes Co., NC. I suspect that he may be the son of John and Lettice (Walker) Duncan of the Northern Neck. In any event, Henry was dead by 1817 in Elbert Co., GA. John, so often alleged to be her father, was instead her brother.
