TO: Rozier Dedwylder, re: Columbus Deadwyler

I know that your message was posted sometime ago, however I just discovered it today. I do hope this e-mail address for you is still good.
Columbus Deadwyler was my stepmother's father. Her name was Willie. She was named for her father's best friend. Columbus embraced me and my four siblings as if we were his own grandchildren. He was affectionately called "D" by our entire family. His wife was Libby Scott Deadwyler. My hunch is that you are a direct descendant of his son Edgar and Edgar's son Bobby. "D" died in 1960, and is buried at Mt Olive Cemetery, Wilmington, Delaware.
I hope that this is helpful.
