They do not appear to be the same A.J. Dean. The A.J. Dean in my line was born abt 1823 and married Amanda "Mandy" Raburn/Rabun in Carroll County, GA in 1848. They are in the census in 1850 in Randolph County, GA and then I find them again in the 1880 census in Wood County, TX.
