James Dean, Revolutionary War Soldier

Does anyone have any information about a James Dean who killed July 15, 1780 at Fort Jefferson by the Chickasaw. The fort was six miles below Louisville, Kentucky and was the western most American fort up to the Revolutionary War. James Dean was a private in Edward Worthington's Company in the Virginia Line of the Illinois Regiment. Any information would be very much appreciated.
