I have a document from poss Lucretia Dean(e)she spells the Deane with an "e" stating after her mothers death she put an article in the New england Historical & Genelogical Register a magazine in April 1869 about her mother Mrs Anne Willliams B June 16th Taunton m March 2 1817 Nehemiah Washburn Deane of Raynham son of Job Deane and Sarah Gustnee
(Gushee) b Raynham July 12th 1755 and calls her her grandmother.She also notes they had 9 children, Silence d 1839, Abagail b 1786 d August 10th 1851 may have married a Terry from Freetown, Mary d October 16, 1793 aged 5, Job b 1784 d January 20th 1855 married 1st Sarah Sampson 2nd Parna Thomas both of Midleboro, Nehemiah b 1791 d November 14th 1832 married Anne Williams, Sarah b 1795 d March 4th 1798,Franklin b 1798 d January 9th 1799 aged 1 year and notes that Major Job Deane's father was Josiah deane son of Jane Washburn and Josiah Deane and mentions that Theodore Deane's granfather and ours were brothers. This letter could have been to her brother Francis Williams Deane who by then resided in Australia, this source (poss Lucretia) also states her source for some of the other earlier info from the notes of John Bathurst Deane F.S.A of London.
Must be some info somewhere perhaps Nehemiahs death cert or Anne williams death cert??? What do you think.
