Hello -

Thanks for the info. At this point I'm a little doubtful, anyway, that my Deans go back to John and Walter Deane, since the 1880 Census indicates that my great-great-grandfather Dean was born in England. I think my Deans are relative newcomers to the Americas - probably closer to 1820 than 1640.
