Barbara:
Am reviewing some of the Hatch and Deane paperwork. Have more info on this Deane line. Had set it aside to concentrate on writing a book about Chester E. Hatch, Sr. and his construction of the Lapeer County, Michigan Courthouse. He started it in 1839 and completed it in 1841. It is still standing and being restored as a museum. Court is at the newer building, but is held at the 1839 courthouse once per year so that it is the oldest active courthouse still in use in MI. Have been 6 years researching.
Chauncy Dean was in the 1870 Census at Lapeer.

Their son Harmon was born 13 JUL 1814 Ancram Twp., Columbia CO, NY. Harmon came to Mayfield Twp in 1852.

Have copied and pasted the asessments from Hamilton CO, Ontario for Dean and Dean in the 1790 Taunton, MASS Census to Excell files. Have other information found at taunton and Hamilton, Port Hope and Cobourg.
If you send your e-mail address, off of this forum, to [email protected], will try to send some of these files to you as attachments. Hopefully they will be of help to you.
