Hello, Lu Ann,

I, too, am interested in William Deane. His son, Walter, was the first of my line to come to this country, landing in Massachusetts in 1635 or 1636 and settling in Taunton.
I was in Chard, England, in October 2009, and visited the church in which Walter was christened on 13 May, 1612. I have some pics of the area and some text, and some sketchy information about William's forbears, back to John Deane, William's ggf. How reliable it is, I can't say; but I'd be glad to share.
What is your Deane connection?

David Dean
