Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I have a letter written by Robert M. Deane in Camp Scott, Farragut, Idaho, dated Jan 21, 1943, addressed to Mrs. T. C. Deane, (his mother) in Los Angeles, CA. He writes about being sick, and how he feels about being in camp, a friend named Frank Curl, asks about the neighbors. He signs himself “Well, buenos noches, Love, Roberto.” If this person is in your family, I would be happy to send you copies.
