*Walter was taught the art of tannery by Eleanor's father William Cogan who was a good friend of Walter's father William.
WALTER was the son of WILLIAM DEANE b. 1574 d. 1635 who married Margaret Wickham (thanks Lu Ann!). They had nine children: William, John, Susan, Eleanor, Marjorie, Elizabeth, Thomas, WALTER, and Isaac.
*Marjorie marrie Rev. Job Strong and came to America in 1630.
**Her brothers John and Walter followed approx 4 years later after the death of their father. I also have them in Dorchester then Taunton.
WILLIAM was the son of WALTER and Johanna.
I have a few other bits and pieces if you want to know more! Most of this from a book I have Willson-Wilson and Allied Lines by Clothilde Wilson Blower "who is my gg-aunt".
Hope this helps!
