William and Ora Belle lived at Stone City, Jones County, Iowa all their lives, as far as I have determined. They are buried in the Dearborn family lot in Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa, where Ora Belle (Thompson) Dearborn's dates are given as: April 4, 1868 - May 18, 1951. William and Ora had no children.

I have a copy of William's obituary from page 1 of The Anamosa (IA) Journal for Thursday, 28 January 1932, which states that he and Ora Belle were married at Maquoketa, Jackson County, Iowa on January 1, 1896.

In the 1900 Census, William N. Dearborn and his wife Ora B. were living in Fairview Twp, Jones Co., IA [note that both Stone City and Anamosa are in this township] (T623-440, ED 52, Sheet 14, Line 73), and Ora Belle is listed as born in April 1867, age 33, white, married 4 years, birthplace Virginia, both parents born Virginia, no children.

Last September I spent part of a day at the courthouse in Anamosa, and examined all of the Dearborn birth, marriage and death records in file in the clerk's office. I found no death record for Ora Belle. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to look for an obituary for her, but I have no doubt that it would give her place of death. Also, I have not looked at William and Ora Belle's marriage record, which should name her parents and give other information.

Best of luck.

David
