I found a a painting on ebay: "LOCATED IN THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER, SOMEONE...MOST LIKELY A FAMILY MEMBER, HAD THE FORESIGHT TO INCLUDE THE OBITUARY UNDER THE GLASS!! ITS PERFECTLY PRESERVED AND A WONDERFUL ONE AT THAT. SUBJECTS NAME WAS SAMUAL DEARBORN AND HE LIVED IN FREYBURG CENTRE (MAYBE MAINE?) FOR THE LAST 33 YEARS OF HIS LIFE. APPARENTLY HE WAS A PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY (HELPED THE POOR,WAS A LEADER IN BUSINESS, FARMING AND LUMBERING, WAS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AND A LEADER IN THE METHODIST CHURCH) . DEARBORNS FACE IS CLASSIC, WITH A GENTLE KIND DISPOSITION." if anyone is interested, the auction ends 1/14/03 Item # 935382107
