She and Carolus were married at Lewiston, ME 23 October 1914. She was called "Marion" Dearborn on the marriage record. She was born at Auburn, ME Sept 1893, daughter of Amos O.[9] (Calvin[8], John[7], Benjamin[6], Simeon[5], Joseph[4], John[3], Henry[2], Godfrey[1]) and Abbie A. (Maloon) Dearborn. Carolus was born at Mechanic Falls c1892, son of Jabez W. and Lizzie B. (Chase) Benson, according to the marriage record.
I do not know when Mary Ann and Carolus Benson died, but they were still living at Mechanic Falls in the 1930 Census, in which he was described as a laborer in a paper mill (T626, roll 828, enum. dist. 42, sheet 16, line 86).
Mary Ann and Carolus had five children that I have a record of:
1) Calvin O., b 7 Dec 1915
2) Arthur M., b 11 Mar 1917; married at Mechanic Falls 21 Oct 1939, Ada M. Pearl
3) Virgil Edwin, b 22 June 1921; d Mechanic Falls 22 Dec 1996 (Social Security Death Index); married at Mechanic Falls 5 July 1943, Amy B. Fifield
4) Prudence L., b 10 Aug 1926; d Norway, ME 5 June 1982, age 55; married at Mechanic Falls 23 Sept 1950, Frank W. Kilbreth
5) Stephen C., b Aug 1927

Calvin O.'s birth is recorded in the Maine Vital Records [he is listed simply as "male" Benson, son of Carolus & Mary Ann], but in the 1930 Census he is called "Calvin O. Davis," and is described as Carolus' stepson. The census further states that Calvin's father was born in England.

This is all that I know about this family. I hope it helps.

David
