Using the stones, 1925

St. Charles (Illinois) Chronicle, March 26, 1925, Local Happenings: The stone from the old Dearborn block will find many uses. A part of it will form an entrance way to Silver Glenn farm driveway. Another large quantity will be put along he Baker tract on the river bank, where possibly a seawall will be built.
