Hi Nilda,

My name is Joseph DeArce I live in New York our family comes from Puerto
Rico in a town called Aguadilla. I have quit a lot of information on the
DeArce's on the origin of the name and the various branches that exists in
North America and some contacts for Puerto Rico. I was always told that
the name DeArce is French in origin and that we have a quirk to it in that
the name is really spelled De'Arce but apostrophe is not used why none
knows. The DeArce's are an old family the name dates from the eight
century and the were the primary advisors to the Kings of Spain. My family
has been in Puerto Rico since it's founding that is since the time of
Columbus. I have several sites on the internet but I have not monitored
them lately because of time constraints. I can give your access to my
private site it has a lot of my information, documents and family trees
including my own, just send me an email.
