In the 1850 census for Rose Township, Carroll Co., OH, there is a Rebecca DEARDOFF, age 30, no husband listed, but with the following children: Catherine age 9; william H. age 8; Marion (male) age 6; Edgar age 5; Isaac age 3. All were born in OH. They lived next door to some of my ancestors, the SWANEYs. I have been trying to determine if there is any blood relationship between the DEARDOFFs and the SWANEYs.

Since Carroll Co. is adjacent to Stark Co., there could be some connection to your DEARDORFF. What do you think?
