Hi Jackie,
I told my grandmother I had been in touch with some family in England and she was just amazed! Where about's in England do you live?
I just recently moved from Ottawa, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta. My grandmother is in Ottawa but she was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Apparently, her parents, Audrey Imogene(nee Thorpe)and Leonard James Walker were both 19 when they got pregnant and had to get married. The Walker family was ashamed of them and they were told to leave England and could either go to Austrailia or Canada. So, I guess we are the black sheep side of the family...lol

I hope your Mom is recovering ok from her operation.

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to any family info and pictures you can share (when you get time to dig it up).

Have a great day,
Julie
